Help us bring the sparkle to Mechanicville Family Day! The Mechanicville Connects Committee is raising money for the annual Family Day fireworks through our playful Flocking for Fireworks fundraiser.
Send a surprise flock of flamingos to a friend, neighbor, family member, or local business, purchase Anti-Flocking Insurance to keep the flock away from your yard, or make a donation to find out who flocked you. Every flock, every laugh, and every donation helps support the fireworks that make Family Day such a special community tradition.
Flocks will be delivered on a first come, first served basis during the fundraiser dates. Choose your support option below and help us keep the fireworks flying for Mechanicville Family Day.
Send a Flock
OG Flock: $20 Donation
Surprise a friend, family member, neighbor, or favorite local person with a cheerful flock of flamingos in their yard! Your donation sends the original fireworks flock out for a playful visit while helping raise money for the Mechanicville Family Day fireworks.
Flocks will be placed on a first come, first served basis during the fundraiser dates. It’s a fun way to spread smiles, create a little neighborhood buzz, and support a community tradition everyone looks forward to.

Anti-Flocking Insurance
$15 Donation
Want to make sure the flock doesn’t land in your own yard? Anti-Flocking Insurance is your playful protection from being flocked during the fundraiser.
With this option, your name and address will be added to the “no nesting” list, helping you stay flamingo-free while still supporting the Mechanicville Family Day fireworks.
Please note: Anti-Flocking Insurance helps prevent your yard from being selected for flocking during this fundraiser.
Flock a Local Business
Corporate Colony: $30 Donation
Send the flock to a local business and help bring some fun, attention, and community spirit to their storefront! The Corporate Colony is a great way to surprise a favorite business, thank a community supporter, or create a lighthearted moment for employees and customers.
Your donation helps support the Mechanicville Family Day fireworks while giving a local business a memorable flamingo visit.

This fun add-on lets you uncover the name of the person who chose to flock you while still helping support the Mechanicville Family Day fireworks. It’s a playful way to keep the fundraiser going, share a laugh, and maybe even plan your own flocking comeback.
